The battery on his mobile was dying. He had to get his call
through. This was an emergency. Finally an answer so he began to speak. All he
could hear was a voice saying “Bear with me caller.”
He started to shout, “This is urgent, I’m trapped.”
“Bear with me caller.”
“For god’s sake, it’s coming and the battery’s going on my
phone. Please you’ve got to help,”
“Bear with me caller.” He pleaded
“It’s here, it’s here,” he screamed
“Bear with me caller.”
“That’s what I’m trying to say,” he pleaded as the battery
on his phone died.
“Now Sir, how can we help?” she said to an empty line.
Turning to a colleague she spoke. “Rude, he’s hung up on me.”
In the woods the bear took another step forward.
“Bear with me,” the man muttered as his last words.
